Hi... my 2 month old baby is teething but gets extremely fussy. i've read that you can give them ibuprofen.... is it safe for such young baby?

No: Ibuprofen can have a toxic effect on the developing function of infant kidneys. It is not approved in the US for infants under 6 months of age. Cold teething rings is the management of choice for teething infants, although I doubt a 2 month old is really teething.

Teething: Dr. Ferguson is absolutely correct. Do not give Ibuprofen/Motrin/Nuprin/Advil to any child y9ounger than 6 months. A cold teething ring may help if your child is actually teething. 2 months, however, is a little on the young side, but not unheard of. you might want to check in with your child's specialist baby physician (Pediatrician) or a specialist baby dentist (Pedodontist).
