Depends on situation: As long as she's playful , eating ok & keeping up with her fluids you can monitor the situation for changes. If she appears to have increased work of breathing, quits eating or drinking & doesn't want to play, i would have her looked at. If your mommy sense gets a bad feeling, have her seen also.

M.D. visit: If she is coughing and wheezing these may be signs of asthma. I would advise an evaluation and possible treatment with albuterol depending on her exam at the physician's office. As the other answer indicated if she is eating well and not in distress, she is still able to breathe comfortably and probably won't need steroids. Prmg/peds fax 858 259 9689 for ?S.
