Mensrual pain ?'s: Severe cramping with menstruation at age 16 may arise from endometriosis, and oral bcp's will alleviate these kinds of cramps considerably. Endometriosis can lead to infertility, so using oral bcp's also preserves later options for pregnancy. Ask your gyn physician for his/her recommendation.
