Pelvic girdle laxity: One reason loose ligaments of pelvis. Women with joint hypermobility syndrome (jhs) have. If can touch thumb back & down to your wrist & with locked knees touch both palms to the floor, you likely have this variant of ligament (gristle in lay terms) tautness. Jhs found predominantly in women. As children could back bridge & put feet behind neck. Jhs makes for easy childbirth & painful periods.

Can be normal: Menstrual cramps are normal, and every woman has a different pain tolerance. Endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine mass (like fibroid), are occasionally found in women with severe cramps/pain with menses. See a doctor.
