This can be regulated with fertility pills, provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days every cycle, or birth control pills, depending on your desire to get pregnant. When you don't ovulate the period might not happen or be very light only to become very heavy when you have a withdrawal bleed after ovulation. Your doctor can help adjust your cycle if you want that
