Had sinus surgery year ago. pain ever since. just told i have a sinus infection in my frontal sinus. 5oz of fluid. is this serious?

Concerning: This obviously requires treatment by the Otolaryngologist. Culture of the sinus fluid would determine whether a bacterial infection is present or if the fluid is a nonspecific reaction to inflammation/irritation. In any event, specialized care and Appropriate antibiotic is needed if it's an infectious process and continued follow-up is important.
