Both: An infant at that age can have both conditions at the same time. It would take a review of the history, exam & x-rays to confirm or exclude either/both conditions.

Antibiotics: A broad spectrum antibiotic may be indicated. Watch for signs of prolonged fever, distress or continued irritability. Please see your PCP on follow up.
