Fused Roots: It means the root support is conical in shape, making the tooth over the long run less stable than a tooth with divergent roots. The shape of the roots does not dictate the needs for extraction, but rather the long term prognosis and costs of a dental implant to be used in replacing it if it is extracted. Discuss with your dentist.
