Pre-malignancy: Differentiated VIN is a precursor to squamous cell carcinoma that can develop in the background of Lichen Sclerosis. I cannot comment on why one pathologist reported LS and the other DVIN. The important thing is the diagnosis is made and rapid management will hopefully result in a removal of all precancerous areas. See a GYN/ONC soon for evaluation.
