You can still get: an infectious disease by sharing towels, using public toilets or dressing rooms, or casual skin contact with someone who has active lesions on their skin. If the lump enlarges in size, becomes more painful, ruptures or drains, or does not go away within a day or 2, it may be time to get checked by a healthcare professional to be safe.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It may be a sebaceous cyst. You may feel the lump every couple of weeks, if the lump doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other lumps appear, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
