35w pregnant ?: At almost 36w of pregnancy, the fetus has moved down in the pelvis and can cause back pain with movements. This is not usually connected to labor, which would be a rhythmic series of episodes which can be timed accordingly. Your OB should be able to examine you weekly to tell you if these symptoms are causing changes leading to labor.
