Stimulation: Babies thrive on all sorts of stimulation, not just movement, colors, music, voice, colors, mobiles,- mix it up with lots of hugs and kisses-they will not overdose, but they will laugh and smile alot.

Bouncing baby: Babies like rocking movements but remember their head is bigger part of the body. Bouncing a baby could be dangerous beacuse without knowing it the baby can suffered from shaken baby syndrome in which brain damage could occur due to a subdural hematoma. Be careful after all is your child and you want the best for your baby.

Bouncing a baby on : one's knee usually doesn't cause Shaken Baby Syndrome. How vigorous is vigorous? Be sure her neck strength & control keeps her head aligned, not flopping or snapping back & forth. "Tummy time" on the floor promotes raising the head, neck & upper trunk. By 5 months, she should shift her weight to one forearm, reach for & attain a toy with the other arm & hand.
