I am going to have frozen embryo transfer on 5/30, but the lab results showed the tsh is 3.18. i started the synthroid now. if the tsh is not decreasing, can i go on with the transfer cycle?

TSH elevated ?: With an elevated TSH, replacement thyroid hormone is indicated, but the transfer cycle does not have to be stopped, since implantation of the frozen embryo should not be affected. If pregnancy does occur, stay in touch with your OB physician for repeat checkups for TSH, as it is important to maintain normal thyroid hormone levels during pregnancy.
