Post Surgery Sex: I recommend to my patients to wait 4-6 weeks before having intercourse after having a surgery where the uterus is instrumented. Consider that the uterus lining has been disrupted (and in this case probably the muscle too) and it's wise to give that some time to heal. Worse case, you would hate to get an inflammation of the uterus lining from vaginal bacteria that may prolong your recovery.
