I have recently been taking amoxicillin and had two root canals and was wondering if either can be the cause of hives ive had since around that time.

Rash: If you are having a penicillin reaction it should begin to clear immediately on stopping the medication, which must be replaced with a different antibiotic if required. If you discontinued PCN a while ago, and rash just started recently, probably not related to the antibiotic. Please call the Dentist that placed you on antibiotic for examination/diagnosis/treatment.
