A member asked:

I might experience tingling pins and needles sensation in fingers (twice in a year). everythings fine in cbc. could this still be anemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pins and needles : Pins and needles in the fingers are most likely stemming from problems with the nervous system. Most likely the nerves that pass at the wrist or inside of the elbow. Problems with nerves passing the neck, arm, shoulder or brain are also possible. There are systemic health issues affecting nerves, like diabetes. Circulation issues are also possible but less likely to feel like pins and needles.
