Kappa light chains: More information is needed to provide a definate answer. You should see a hematologist. It can be concerning or something to just observe.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, positive bence jones test may be benign, pre-malignant or malignant, depending on other findings.
