Absolutely: No question about it, sub-clinical abscess may not have any symptoms. People often believe the need to be in pain to indicate they have a serious medical/dental condition. Periodontal disease may not have any outward symptoms. High blood pressure and diabetes may not have symptoms, bu you can die from either. Many cancers have no symptoms until you have less than a few weeks to live.

Absolutely: Pain is just one of the symptoms of a. major problem. Any pain, bleeding, or swelling deserves immediate investigation. Please see your Dentist for a thorough examination. Do not put this off.
