Bursa: You may have inflammation of the bursa behind the knee. I would see an orthopedic surgeon as injection or drainage may be necessary. Good Luck

Diagnosed with chondromalacia patella 10 years ago. After straining my back, my knee has been acting up. It's popping under the kneecap when I walk, hurts to squat and bottom of kneecap hurts when sitting. What can I do for this flare up?
Stiff knee with painful popping under kneecap and bottom. The more I walk the worse it gets. Now it feels hot and causes me to limp. It burns and sharp pain with squatting. My legs does shake with squatting as well. What could this be? Pull back knee?
