Depends: On ultrasound, typically the color mode gives an indication of blood supply to an area. So seeing red, particularly fluctuating red, in many machines means that there is arterial blood supply. This is not by itself necessarily good or bad, it requires interpretation by a radiologist. You are always free to ask a technician "what does that mean"? Though in some cases they might not answer.
