Cholesterol Numbers: This would require more space that permitted here. Please get a copy of your lipid panel results (the reference ranges are next to each number) and visit your doctor. The total comes from the interaction of measures of various fats in your blood, some good and some not so good. As the total moves beyond 200 docs talk about medication or lifestyle changes.
