Bumped head : So how hard did you bump your head? The physical examination of a patient hitting the head could reveal tenderness. The head has muscles on them which can be inflamed after getting bumped lightly. If you lost consciousness, or are dizzy a concussion is a concern. A light bump on the head causes pain, hence headache.
