A member asked:

Is it normal to start menstrual-like bleeding and pain after 4 days of ectopic pregnancy removal? also some dull pain where the fallopian tube was?

It is normal: to bleed after treatment for ectopic pregnancy. The thickened uterine lining is shed..often it is not similar to "menstrual-like" bleeding as it may be clotty and dark; for other it appears similar to a period. Bleeding and spotting may last up to 6 weeks. Pain should steadily improve. Normal periods restart 2 to 10 weeks after treatment. Ovulation may occur before a period; consider contraception
