A member asked:

My husband has heart palpitations. blood works show normal. what can it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Palpitations: Blood work doesn't identify all of the causes of palpitations. Your doctor or a cardiologist can set your husband up with a monitor to record his heart rate and rhythm. This will help identify if the palpitations are caused by an abnormal heart rhythm. Some can be serious and others can be normal. If he is experiencing chest pain, trouble breathing or dizziness, he should seek help more urgently
