Recent colonoscopy for altered bowel habits: 'multiple attempts to intubate the ti but unable to do so.' why would this be? should i be concerned?

Sounds like: attempts were made to intubate the terminal ilium (the last portion of the small bowel) to eliminate ileitis (Crohn's disease)...No reason to be concerned since this disorder often is seen by the colonoscopy but may be eliminated completely with a small bowel study (by x ray or "telecapsule" and/or some advance MRI techniques) Hope this is helpful!
