Sharp pain: Lots of possibilities including, but not limited to, eruption attempt by an impacted wisdom tooth, TMJ, damage to 12 year molar by an impacted wisdom tooth, decay/abscess in a bc k tooth, gum disease, neurologic impairment, neoplasm, etc. Please see your Dentist for examination, possible imaging, possible lab tests, to determine cause and appropriate treatment.
