I am 21 weeks pregnant and have the flu, what medicine is safe to take please?

Pregnancy & Flu: You will want to go to your OB and insure that you don't actually have influenza (the true flu) because that can be very dangerous in pregnancy and must be taken seriously. If though, you are having a viral infection with congestion, sore throat, etc. as a general rule most over the counter cold medications without Ibuprofen or Aspirin are ok. Your OB should have a list of safe meds for colds.
