It is not safe to take Alcophyllex or Bronkese Compound medicine during pregnancy without consulting a healthcare professional. Both of these medicines contain the active ingredient Theophylline, which is a bronchodilator for respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Theophylline can cross the placenta and may pose a risk to the developing fetus.
