50 mg daily: Clomiphene is a non-steroidal fertility medicine which causes the pituitary gland to release hormones necessary to stimulate ovulation. The initial course of treatment is 50 mg orally once a day for 5 days. I wish you well with your health!

Not too high: 50 mg or 100 mg is standard starting dosage (which has nothing to do with your weight, by the way) so it's not too high.
