A member asked:

Shock like penile pain, pelvic pain, testicle pain, slight itching at times on side of penis. what can cause this? negative for all stis a man can be tested for. any thoughts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Penile pain ?: The pain described may be due to ulceration of the male urethra (central canal of the penis) secondary to either herpes or human papilloma virus (HPV). If your physician has done blood tests for IgM/IgG antibodies, and tests are negative for herpes, and culture is negative for gonorrhea or chlamydia , the pain may be from HPV. Get a referral to a urologist to be certain.
