Getting worse ????: Threadworms (pinworms) are an only human parasite that lives quietly within the large intestines. Its irritating factor is caused by the sticky film the female lays eggs in around the anus. Many develop an intense allergic reaction/irritation from that film. A cold wash & OTC hydrocortizone cream can decrease itching. The pill may kill the parasite, but the irritation can last for weeks
