Confusing question: Why do you think you had threadworms ? Was it confirmed by testing or just treated? Why do you think it didn't go away? The anal itching most often attributed to threadworms can be caused by many things. Treating the wrong thing will not fix the problem. It treated properly,itching can persist for weeks after proper treatment.
