Pinworms: You touch and then swallow tiny worm eggs which hatch in the gut. Female worms emerge around the anus (and vagina in females) at night to lay more eggs and secrete mucus that makes you scratch the area. The eggs stick to your fingers or nails and then they can be transferred anywhere. There's a lot more to a cure than just the drug, like strict hygiene and treating family members as well.
