Need clarification: Vigorous exercise should make you feel "high" given the release of endorphins, the body's natural opioids. If "lightheaded" means you feel like you might pass out, you're assumption of "plenty hydrated" is inaccurate. We have a storage capacity 2 liters above when we begin to feel any effect of dehydration. Fluid losses from exercise are huge. Rehydrating? think quarts (liters), not 8 ounce cups.
