Dizzy : Dizziness is a difficult symptom for the patient and doctor to properly describe. Are you lightheaded? - feeling like you are going to lose consciousness? If so it may be an issue with the lungs (oxygen level) or circulation from the heart to the head. Is the environment actually moving? vertigo- nerve, inner ear. This is the second time you asked....I am concerned for anxiety

Intensity : You may wish to reduce the intensity of exercise to the level where you do not have these symptoms.

A 35-year-old member asked:

Is there a natural treatment for vaginal yeast infections, nail fungus and jock itch?

2 doctor answers2 doctors weighed in
Dr. Robert Kwok
Pediatrics 33 years experience
No effective ones: There are no truly natural treatments for yeast or fungal infections. Staying slim helps by having less moisture and heat in the skin folds of the groin and armpits, and by avoiding type 2 diabetes. Staying clean helps, such as showering after exercise. Treating fungal infections early, such as treating feet rashes, helps prevent toenail fungus. Eating yogurt with acidophilus may decrease candida.

Dr. Jeff Livingston

Damaged muscles: Childbirth can be traumatic to the muscles and nerves surrounding the bladder, vagina and rectum. The nerves can be damaged and small tears in the muscles can lead to prolapse and incontinence is some women. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. It is common and fixable.

How long will it take to heal a stress fracture under the knee cap?

2 doctor answers3 doctors weighed in
Dr. Frank Holmes
Sports Medicine 23 years experience
It depends...: Stress fractures of the patella or the groove in the femur are relatively uncommon. Healing time depends on many factors: severity of the fracture, age of the patient, compliance with rest and immobilization and whether other negative healing factors are present (smoking, diabetes, etc.). Generally speaking, 8-12 weeks would be typical time for healing.

Could emphysema cause increased perspiration & muscle ache during exercise?

2 doctor answers3 doctors weighed in
Dr. Bryan Levey
Pediatrics 27 years experience
Effect, not cause: Exertion and fatigue cause muscle ache and perspiration during exercise. Emphysema may decrease the ability of your heart and lungs to deliver oxygen to the muscles you are exercising, thus increasing the exertion necessary to do an exercise, and increasing the fatigue that results from that exercise.
A 39-year-old member asked:

What is more pain: a hand fracture or a dislocation?

2 doctor answers5 doctors weighed in
Dr. Amir Khan
Sports Medicine 27 years experience
Varies: Both can be quite painful depending on the patients pain threshold, type of dislocation and severity of fracture. Prompt treatment is required and preferred to restore normal alignment and protective spilinting to a fracture or dislocation.
