Normal results: Almost everybody is infected with both EBV and CMV, usuallly in childhood or as a young adult. Therefore IgG blood tests are normally positive in healthy persons. However, maybe risk of serious problems if the person with this result has a serious immune deficiency like advanced cancer, chemotherapy, AIDS, drugs after organ transplantation, etc. Discuss with doctor if any uncertainty about it.
