These results mean you had infection with Epstein Barr virus within last 3 months but more than 4 weeks before the blood test. These positive antibody tests do not explain your symptoms since March because IgM VCA should be negative by now if EBV infection occurred 5 months ago. Do you have any underlying disease and have you had swollen glands in March?

EBV IGM less than 36. EBV nuclear antigen greater than 600. EBV IGG is 94.4. Doctor insists mono is causing my symptoms. Isnt all of this indicative of past infection rather than current or primary infection since my IGM is negative?
