Hard to assess: The lymph nodes remove foreign material & stray germs from the serum for the region near their location. The ones in the groin would cover for events effecting that leg & the nearby skin & genitals. An bug bites or an infection anywhere within the area served can trigger nodes to swell/hurt. If the cause is not obvious you should let your doc sort it out. It may need special treatment.
