Lymphadenopathy...: ...Is the term we use to describe enlarged lymph nodes. If you had an abscess drained in the right leg, it certainly can explain an enlarged lymph node. However, it is necessary to see a doctor in-person for a formal history and exam.

Yes should improve: Reactive lymph node usually improve within 48 hours, if not better or getting worse then it may secondarily infected and may require drainage.
