Swollen and painful lymph node in groin. also thigh pain on same side, pain started after possibly pulling a muscle. are the two related to injury?

Groin/thigh pain: Usually a pulled muscle does not cause lymph node swelling. Lymph nodes usually swell in infection rarely in tumor. Groin LN usually drain the leg/ vaginal/vulva area. Also consider possible clot/hematoma( bleeding into soft tissue from trauma) if thigh pain ( though clots usually don't cause LN swelling). Would seek medical attention today, one can get an infection rather easily and quickly
