Will i need to be intubated for oral surgery for an introral pleomorphic adenoma on hard palate? being done at hospital. why not just deep sedation?

Tumor removal: Usually there will be bleeding and under sedation this may cause gagging and possible aspiration - also you will not be able to be deep enough for the surgery. The best is intubated where the airway is secure and you will not move.
