Depends: It all depends on how high on whether you need meds,these things help #(1. )Get at least 7 hours of sleep at night.#(2.)30 minutes of exercise day can lower Blood pressure by 10 points#.(3.)The DASH diet.(#4.)every 2 pounds weight loss lowers Bp usually by 1 point

Agree with Dr. K: Reduce salt intake, if you are overweight, lose weight, exercise at least 150 minutes/week, avoid saturated fats, if needed take medications for high blood pressure.
