A member asked:

Does high cholesterol equate to blocked arteries or is there a possibility that arteries are clear, even with a high cholesterol count?

Increased risk!: With high cholesterol there is an increased "risk" of fatty deposits developing in your blood vessels. I therefore suggest you adhere to a low cholesterol, low sugar diet & exercise regularly. Also maintain weight control & avoid smoking. Furthermore, you should have follow-up checks-ups at a clinic for your cholesterol levels & discuss this further with a physician in the clinic. Best of luck!
