Common for people to get muscle cramps and breakdown with the medicine. This can elevate CPK which can effect your kidneys.

COQ10: is available to "replace" the depletion caused by statin drugs....Unfortunately it is quite expensive and the full benefits are not completely understood! Hope this is also helpful Dr Z
