Post Extraction Pain: Good day; Rarely after 18 days is there discomfort from an extraction site. Is the pain intermittent?, Is the intensity diminishing on a daily basis; consider contacting DDS who removed tooth if discomfort continues. Sometimes spicule of bone rises to surface days after extraction requiring removal.

Lingering pain: By now you should be pretty much pain free. Best to contact the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon who removed the tooth for a reevaluation.
