Fluids more importan: Fluids or hydration more important, without carbs. Food should not be eaten after 2 hours before a good workout. Blood will flow to your gut, instead of muscle. Emphasize protein, small amount of carbs. Fat would be ok, but needs to be pushed back because of slower absorption! protein shakes are good afterwars after you first rehydrate!
