My GP gave me Amitriptyline (Elavil)as i have 6-8 Migraine Auras a month but no Headache I thought Elavil was more for Migraine Headache?Ideas please?
People get Multiple migraine attacks a month over20-30yrs. I have 4 a Month on average.I have Aura no Headache wise to see GP to take small dose Propranolol which reduced them before , tolerated them at 20mg with mild Asthma to reduce my Stroke risk?
I take Brown Clenil 100 a few mnths a year and can sometimes use Salbutmol 100 3x a week in evening but could i take Propranolol 25mg twice a day like GP advised before for Migraine Aura to help in the risk of stroke ?although healthy BMI non smoker.

Going on low dose Prapranolol GP permission ,worked reduced Migraine Aura no Headache.Echocardiagram recently would not find PFO but i could have small PFO causing Migraines.Cardio said see Nuerologist but why not investigate further in Cardiology?
