Re evaluate : Six months is a very long time for a “sprained “ ankle to respond to treatment. It should be re evaluated and X-ray

Re evaluation: If you are still having pain six months after an “ankle sprain” you should be re evaluated. It is possible, even likely that there was more to the injury than a sprain. An mri may be useful to look for other components to your injury.
