Prednisone: That much prednisone may cause palpitations, some jitteriness,anxiety,flushing and trouble sleeping. I don't consider lexapro appropriate to use as a sedative or tranquilizer so don't increase the dose. Avoid stimulants like caffeine. If you truly need temporary tranquilization, contact your prescribing physician.
