A member asked:

Are there any eye transplants available for someone that has lost his eye sight on one eye?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: They do not transplant eyes. They can replace a cornea (front clear part) if it goes bad but not the eye. The eye nerve dies when you lose sight in that eye & there is no way to grow/repair that nerve & it's function.
